Who we are

Kinetik is operated by F³ Lab (Modest Reszewicz), Poland — the data controller for this service. Contact: m.reszewicz@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

Account data (only if you sign in with Google): your e-mail address, display name, profile photo URL and a user identifier — used solely to authenticate you and attach your saved projects to your account.
Your projects: the mechanism data you choose to save to the cloud, stored under your account.
Share snapshots: when you create a share link, a read-only copy of that project is stored so the link works; it is retrievable only with the link.
Local preferences (units, manual force, autosaved workspace) are stored in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.

You can use Kinetik without an account — nothing is then stored server-side.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage (page views, referrers, country, device type). It is cookie-less, does not use fingerprinting, does not track you across other sites, and collects no personal data — so it needs no cookie-consent banner. What we don't do

No advertising, no sale or sharing of personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
No tracking cookies. The only cookies/storage used are those required by Google Firebase Authentication to keep you signed in.
No cross-site tracking or profiling of individuals.

Where the data lives

Data is processed by Google Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, database (Cloud Firestore) and hosting — and by Cloudflare, Inc. (aggregate web analytics), under each provider's data-processing terms, which include EU Standard Contractual Clauses for any transfers outside the EEA.

Retention & your rights (GDPR)

Your data is kept until you delete it. Projects and share links can be deleted in-app at any time.
Delete account & data in Settings permanently removes your cloud projects, your share snapshots and your account.
You also have the rights of access, rectification, portability (use Save to disk for a full export of any project) and complaint to a supervisory authority (in Poland: UODO). For anything else, e-mail us.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
